I left with my Family at around 11 am from New Panvel and took the Old Mumbai Pune Highway passing Khopoli and taking the Road to Pali straight.

Passing from Pali I took the Pali Ravalje Road with took us to Vile Village which is at the Foot steps of Tamani Ghats.

The drive is lonely and fresh.

If you dont like to drive in through the jungle,I suggest you take the Mumbai Goa Road and take a Left Turn after 1 km from Kolad on towards Vile Village.

That way you will have traffic as a company upto Kolad from Mumbai..

Tamani ghats as said earlier is one of the Best Hidden and Unexplored One Day Picnic Spot near Mumbai and Pune During Monsoons.

After you take the Left from Kolad and reach Vile Village,You will reach a beautiful restaurant called ORCHARD Resort Cafe which is a ideal for a small break before you start climbing the TAMANI GHATS.
